The country of Spain is a country with a lot of history. The Spanish language is one that is known all over the world and people are even taking courses on it to become a lot more proficient at it. Unfortunately, in spite of the fact that this language is very popular and is known all over the world, little is known about the country Spain in itself.
Spain is country located in the south western part of Europe on the Iberian Peninsula in the East of Portugal. Only a small water body delineates it from Morocco in the North of Africa.

The capital of this beautiful country populated with about 40 million inhabitants is known as Madrid and is the most populated city in the whole of Spain. Spain has come a long way from a country restricted by the traditions often accompanying the reign of monarchs to a modernized nation with lots of attractions for tourists, visitors, immigrants and expatriate workers. This is one of the attractions that Spain holds for many people. Thus, making it a city with a lot of potential work for a lot of people. As long as you have a grasp of the language and understand the basic cultures, spain is a welcome country for you.

One of the most common bar jobs in spain that you would find is the job of a waiter. Waiters in most restaurants in Spain often multitask. This means that where the restaurant is incorporated into a hotel, they may also function as bell boys. However, there is a common custom. You just always leave the waiter a tip. This is often done by leaving more than the necessary amount that the food costs.

The Spanish people are very friendly and hospitable. But the recent influx of refugees into spain has made it harder for them to be very friendly particularly to Africans. This is because of the not-so-commendable attitude that Africans put up. Some of which are fraud and embezzlement. This is not say that there aren’t many people who make a honest living there.

The recent attempted influx of refugees and immigrants into spain has resulted in the tightening of the borders. Yet, in spite of all these, spain is noted for its close housing. The Spanish value the family a lot and most of them have heir own businesses operating right from their homes. So, it is not impossible to find that every three storey building has at least one floor dedicated to just shops and stores. The night life in Madrid is awesome. In fact with the introduction of the techno, most hip hop clubs are filled to the brim at night with youths partying all night. When in Spain, do not forget to visit their salsa and meringue clubs. You will never regret the experience.
